Denny Hamlin has seen a major turnaround in the way the NASCAR community views him, especially after the 2023 season. But putting aside the haters, Hamlin has been enjoying his time off in the winter and often takes to Instagram to share the shenanigans with his daughters. One thing’s for sure: no matter what anyone says, Denny Hamlin will always continue to be himself, regardless of the on-track boos and social media hate.

It looks like it’s been quite a hectic week for Denny Hamlin. From giving away Logitech Sim racing gear on his Twitter to picking his daughter Molly’s favorite rugby fantasy players, Let’s just take his recent Instagram post, for example, where he shared a seemingly random message for his employees. But first, here is what Denny Hamlin had to say about the increasing attention from fans.

Earlier this week, Denny Hamlin made a visit to Dale Earnhardt Jr’s side of the tent at Dirty Mo Media. Speaking to Junior about the increase in hate he’s been getting lately, Hamlin revealed another side to the story. He acknowledged just how polarizing his character can be sometimes and how it’s been a double-edged sword.

He shared, “I have this. I have this platform to give my opinion, and I think that a lot of the fans uproar towards the end of the year. A lot of it was because I am opinionated. I do believe that I have more fans than I’ve ever had by far. It’s not close.” While Denny Hamlin may have given fans the benefit of the doubt over their dissent for his shenanigans, his popularity has ultimately benefited him more than anything. Speaking to the Denny Hamlin haters, the No. 11 Joe Gibbs Racing star himself had nothing but gratitude in return.

Denny Hamlin said, “However, the counter Denny Hamlin fans, the ones that don’t like me at all, are louder than they’ve ever been. So it’s just been more noise. But I do believe that it did what we hoped, and that was build a platform, build a fan base, build a brand, and see where this thing goes,”

This time, Denny Hamlin took to Instagram to share a simple message for the workers who visit the Hamlin warehouse. The sign simply stated, Leave the skid marks in your pants. Not on the floors! with a caption that read “new company policy”. It looks like someone has been messing around in the shop and getting the floors all dirty with skid marks and the brutally honest driver didn’t pull any punches here, either.

Fans were immediately rolling on the floor, laughing in the comments section. While some burst into hysteria at the very thought of what would have happened that caused Denny Hamlin to create such a sign, others were downright disgusted and still managed to take digs at Hamlin.

Speaking about the mammoth in the room—the skid marks—a fan was quick to comment, “Bro really said leave the skibidi marks in your gyatt 💀”. Another user made a funny comparison to the NHRA drag racing series and shared, “It definitely looks like an @nhra event has happened in my pants today.”

And it wasn’t just the community having the time of their lives with Hamlin’s seemingly innocent post. Anthony Alfredo chimed in to pull a smooth sponsor promotion: “That’s why we have @dudewipes” whilst SRX Racing commented,  “😂”. The puns with the toilet seat never stopped hitting the floor, with a fan commenting, “Well. Crap happens”

On the other hand, some were more interested in driving RC cars on the shiny floor in Hamlin’s shop; as one user commented, “Would love to drive an RC car on that floor” whilst others were still haunted by the very proposition made by Hamlin, “Awh hell nah 💀💀💀”. And finally, the Denny Hamlin jokes began rolling in, with some referencing Hamlin’s shoulder injury and how he had to use his left hand – “Definitely gonna have those skid marks wiping with your left hand!
