The Final 4 drivers have been officially confirmed for the Phoenix Raceway. Joining Kyle Larson in the season finale are Chase Elliott, Martin Truex Jr, and Denny Hamlin. Out of the four of them, only Truex Jr managed a Top 5 finish, which was absolutely crucial.
However, it appeared that Hamlin was not overly popular among the fans and they all booed him. When asked about it, he simply quipped, “It’s just Chase Elliott fans, man. They don’t think straightly. They’re going to boo the sh** out of me next week, I can tell you that.”
Poor old Hamlin had a race to forget when he finished 24th at the Martinsville Speedway. Apparently, Martinsville, Chase Elliott, and Denny Hamlin have a bit of history between themselves. Back in 2017, the two were battling for a chance to make it to the Championship 4. Unfortunately, Hamlin punted Elliott out of the race and it led to a Kyle Busch win.

Four years on, and it appears that fans have still not forgiven Hamlin for that stunt. The #11 driver did not do himself any favors either, when he took shots at race-winner Alex Bowman. At least he can take comfort in the fact that he is still in the championship running, albeit just barely.
In all honesty, he just about managed to squeak in, despite a 3rd place finish for Brad Keselowski. In addition to that, Kyle Busch was 2nd, with Joey Logano and Ryan Blaney in 10th and 11th. Now, the driver has to face off against, Larson, Elliott, and his own teammate Martin Truex Jr.
