Denny Hamlin is widely regarded as one of the most confident—and at times cocky—drivers in NASCAR, and he certainly has the credentials to back it up. With over 50 career wins, including three Daytona 500 victories, Hamlin has proven himself as one of the sport’s top talents. Despite his consistent success, he’s yet to secure a NASCAR Cup Series championship, a glaring gap in his otherwise impressive resume.

His unapologetic personality and willingness to challenge the status quo have earned him both fierce rivals and loyal supporters. Fans have come to appreciate his raw honesty and competitive edge, while his rivals know all too well that Hamlin’s confidence is matched by his ability to back it up when it counts.

Despite his attitude, there is no doubt in the fact that the NASCAR fans love him. Of course, except for some controversial moments. But this time surely is not one of them. He posted a carousel of pictures on his official Instagram account. From his cooking to photo shoots, and outings with his friends, there is no doubt in the fact that he looked his very best while sporting a fresh bearded look. In the caption, he wittily wrote, “Your opinion wasn’t in the recipe”.

The community could not be happier to see Denny Hamlin post with the season just around the corner and showered it with compliments.

NASCAR community reacts to Denny Hamlin’s latest post

Hamlin’s career has spanned nearly two decades, and while his championship drought remains a sore spot, he has a great relationship with a few fellow drivers who commented on his new look and snazzy caption. The Craftsman Truck Series’ Most Popular driver for 2024, Rajah Caruth, commented “🔥” presumably for the caption, which is a traditional Hamlin dig at his haters.

While there are, of course, the die-hard Hamlin fans who go into every season with the optimism that he will take home the title. One fan commented, “DENNY CHAMPION 25′”, and another one read, “He’s going to win the championship and retire”. While retirement hasn’t been on Hamlin’s mind publicly, winning a championship would surely take the proverbial ‘monkey off his back’, allowing him to ride into the sunset as a bona fide legend.

With the new season comes new sponsors for the drivers. In the first picture, which was of him cooking, he was seen wearing a new purple jacket. Curious if it was one of his new sponsors for the season, one of the fans asked, “What’s that purple fire suit sponsor? Yahoo? Or a new one?” The sponsor chatter comes after Hamlin notably lost a long-time sponsor, FedEx, after the 2024 season following a career-long partnership with the logistics giant.

NFL, MLB, and NASCAR journalist, Chris Meyers also gave some context to some photos in the post that showcased Hamlin hanging out with 23XI Racing driver Tyler Reddick. Hamlin, of course, co-owns the team with Michael Jordan and was seen at the home office of 23XI Racing according to Journalist Chris Meyers, who commented, “Denny gives us an inside-out tour of the latest and greatest home office of the Jordan/Hamlin team AirSpeed .. you see it when Fox broadcasts the Clash on Sunday, Feb 2nd!” The Clash is around a week away now and we can’t wait for this sneak peek into 23XI’s home office.

Meanwhile, ‘cocacolaracing’ complimented the Joe Gibbs Racing driver’s new bearded look, “Denny ate and left no crumbs 🥵🥤”.
