Sponsorships are an essential part of NASCAR. It is an undeniable fact that bigger brands and companies sponsor the cars to make sure a driver can bring their car on track every weekend. And the same goes for 23XI drivers, Bubba Wallace and Kurt Busch.
However, sponsors come with certain commitments that drivers have to keep in mind. And, the drivers might not always be very accommodating to them. And the 23XI drivers, Bubba Wallace and Kurt Busch are no different.
In fact, 23XI Racing’s co-owner, Denny Hamlin revealed an important tradition of the team that the drivers aren’t quite fond of.

Denny Hamlin Shares The Reason He Has To Shut Bubba Wallace And Kurt Busch Up
A recent episode of the Dale Jr. Download, hosted by NASCAR’s most popular man, Dale Earnhardt Jr., featured Denny Hamlin. The 2 talked about how the Joe Gibbs Racing driver feels on and off track.
And, the 23XI Racing co-owner talks about the way the team involves the sponsors to keep good relations with them. He said, “Instead of a drivers meet now we have a thing called the 1948 where they have host, you know, perspectives. Sponsor, or big-wigs, or VIPs for the team. At 23XI we host a lot of our sponsors there and it’s an ability for them to meet multiple drivers.”

However, Hamlin reveals the drivers are anything but happy about it. In fact, he said, “My drivers spout off to NASCAR about it, oh it’s just a waste of time, this is BS, whatever.” However, Denny doesn’t seem to take it as he responds, by saying, “Shut up, this is good for our team. This is how we talk to our sponsors.”

He understands the drivers, but he also needs sponsors for the team as he said, “I know it’s a pain in the a**, but we need it.”
