After a post-race interview on FS1, he did the Michael Jordan shrug with a “What are you gonna do” expression on his face for the cameras. Notably, Hamlin is a long time friend of legendary basketball player Michael Jordan. And the ‘Nike Jordan’ brand is his longtime sponsor.
In a post-race interview, the Joe Gibbs Racing driver revealed that the six-time NBA championship winner was watching the Miami race. He said, “I looked and he was one of the first guys to text me,”.

He added, “You know, why not? After a performance like that. After the s***y one we had last week, you might as well live it up a little bit.”

Denny Hamlin dominated the race just like Jordan did in the 1992 NBA Finals
In the race, He lead 138 out of the 267 laps. And kept Chase Elliott and Ryan Blaney at bay to score his 40th NASCAR Cup Series victory. Additionally, Denny Hamlin picked up his third NASCAR Cup Series at Homestead-Miami Speedway on Sunday night. He is now tied with NASCAR legend Tony Stewart and Greg Biffle for most victories at the Homestead-Miami track.

Last week, Danny had a very troublesome run finished the Martinsville race in the twenty-fourth spot. After taking the win, he expressed his happiness with the result and the progress that their team made in the last week.
