Ever wondered how the NASCAR Cup Series driver would look when competing in the Olympics? The Cup garage certainly doesn’t lack talent, but with the wide range of games to choose from, it is hard to guess which drivers would do well in a particular discipline. However, amid the Paris Olympics, a few of them were put on the stage to decide the fate of their rivals in how they would fare in the Olympic Games.
The likes of Denny Hamlin and Alex Bowman participated in this fun activity organized by NASCAR themselves. With a surprise pick of three drivers, they had to decide where they would land on the podium based on the sport. And the picks made by the drivers were interesting, to say the least.

Denny Hamlin had to pick the best 100-meter sprinter, and his options were Ross Chastain, Joey Logano, and Austin Cindric. Not sure if Hamlin spies on his rivals during his free time, but he had a fair idea of the sprinting abilities of these three drivers.
Sharing his verdict, he placed Joey Logano in the gold medal position. Whereas Cindric ended up with the silver medal and Chastain took the bronze. “Joey is P1. I’ve seen it in action. He is an ostrich when it comes to running. Cindric P2, I haven’t seen him run, but I saw him play pickleball; that’s not his sport.”
On the other hand, Alex Bowman was somehow not able to quantify who would be the best diver. To be fair to Bowman, he had a really tricky choice between Chase Elliott, Kyle Larson, and Chris Buescher. Jumping the gun, he placed Elliott in third place, stating, “I feel like Chase is going to be worst at this only because Chris and Kyle are much more dense. So they are going to descend quicker in their dive.”
It was only later that he realized a leaner Elliott would have an edge over more muscular Buescher and Larson. In diving, the emphasis is on reducing the amount of splash after the diver makes an entry into the pool. Quickly realizing his muck-up, Bowman said, “Yikes, They’re gonna make a big splash.”

Meanwhile, Carson Hocervar and Corey LaJoie also joined the Paris Olympics to break fun, as recently he noted he wants to get back to racing. But this activity turned into a schooling lesson for the rookie Spire Motorsports driver.

Hocevar was surprised to learn about ‘Breaking’ as an official Olympic game
Now, this would be news to a lot of racing enthusiasts who have long been yearning for an official entry for motorsports in the Olympics. However, when Hocevar was asked to place the three best break dancers, he was struck by the surprising fact that the Paris Olympics 2024 included Breaking or Break Dancing as an official game.
“I thought this was an Olympic sport. No way. Is it actually? There’s no shot.” His picks were Denny Hamlin, Corey La Joie, and Brad Keselowski. And he decided to crown Hamlin as the winner based on his exploits, while blatantly putting his teammate LaJoie in the bronze medal position. “I feel like Denny would win that one. I feel like he probably goes to a lot of clubs. I just want to put Corey last, honestly. I feel like he doesn’t have a lot. I’d say Brad probably back in his days could really get down.”

Core LaJoie, on the other hand, was pretty confident about his verdict on who would come out on top in a gymnastics event. He had to decide between Ryan Blaney, Brad Keselowski, and Kyle Busch. “I’ve seen Brad Keselowski shoot a basketball, so he’s going to be here on everyone that I pick. RYB is a damn Spiderman monkey bro. He would be like Ninja Warrior, Simone Biles, or whatever you wanna call. And then just I know because he would be better than Keselowski.”
