In a recent Instagram reel announcing his new haircut, Hamlin said, “I’ve lost 18 Cup Championships in a row. Gotta change the sh*t up.”
Looks like Hamlin has been putting the work and the hours in to truly master a track as challenging as Phoenix. And after being in the Cup Series for 18 years, starting his career in 2005’s Banquet 400 at Kansas, he seems more ready than ever to finally take what he deserves. In fact, many people consider Hamlin the “Best driver without a championship”.
But he can change that this year! At least the fans think so!
“That hair gon make him faster!”
“This is our year”
“Please change that shit up!”
“I’m rooting for you denny”

But one thing that has remained a constant is his consistency on the track. The driver always managed to get as many points as he could, and kept himself relevant. On top of that, he already has 2 wins under his belt this season. Well, 3 wins but the one at Pocono was taken away because of an all-too-powerful piece of tape.
