Last week, NASCAR announced a $50,000 fine and a 25 driver point penalty for Hamlin. Citing that the Joe Gibbs Racing driver violated NASCAR Rule Book’s section 4.4.B, the governing body shared that it found Hamlin’s actions detrimental to stock car racing and NASCAR.
