Denny Hamlin expressed astonishment at Ford’s recent winning streak, especially on short tracks. The three-time Daytona 500 winner praised Majeski’s talent as a short-track racer and recognized his impressive win at the truck opener. Majeski’s ability to dominate on short tracks was attributed to his skill and the team’s prowess.

“So Ty and you know that that team switching over to Ford this year is really doing a great job and I’m a I’m a huge fan and Ty I think it’s it’s about time people start knocking on his door on on on some opportunities and just a great. I mean he wins by the way short track races, big short track races when all the guys are in it. When when Chase Elliott or William Byron go run a super late model he still goes and beats them.”

The #11 Toyota Camry driver further stated, “So he’s a very good driver for sure you know you definitely it’s you know Josh Berry is a late model stock guy time of jet ski is a late model stock and super late model guy. So he’s you know I know he’s very involved in what the team does there. He works in the shop he helps build shocks for all the teams. So want to give him a shout out for for a great performance this weekend.”

Hamlin recalled instances when a car was significantly faster than the rest of the field, reflecting his experience at Richmond. However, he noted that he hadn’t seen such dominance in over a decade. Majeski’s exceptional performance amid stiff competition left Hamlin in awe.

While Ty Majeski from ThorSport Racing seized the pole in the Craftsman Truck Series, poor execution of strategies dashed his hopes of victory. Joe Gibbs Racing driver Denny Hamlin capitalized on this opportunity, although his triumph was controversial. Hamlin’s commentary, laced with frustration, questioned Ford’s strategies, drawing attention to the Truck Series’ disappointment on the same track where they had initially triumphed.

Denny even stated, “I am watching him and it’s been a very long time since I have seen a vehicle that dominates over the field. I can’t remember the last time when the one was 4-10s, half a second faster than the field in the long run faster, but even in the traffic he was dramatically faster than the field so he tried to throw away with the speeding penalty”

Majeski’s shot at victory in the Craftsman Truck Series was an unfortunate missed opportunity. Despite his initial dominance, a penalty for speeding on the pit road shattered his dreams. The victory slipped and was snatched by Carson Hocevar.
