In the second episode of Dirty Mo Media’s podcast “Actions Detrimental with Denny Hamlin”, Denny discussed his relationship with Kyle Busch, one of his fellow racers. During the podcast, he called out Busch as a “conspiracy theorist” in the world of racing. When asked about whether he takes it personally when someone wrecks him during a race, Denny replied, “I do not. Clearly, Kyle does.”

Busch’s intense competitiveness and aggressive driving style on the track are well-known secrets. He has caused multiple incidents with other drivers over the years, which has resulted in some heated rivalries. However, people have accused Busch of being a conspiracy theorist before. In 2016, after NASCAR suspended him for intentionally wrecking another driver during a race, he implied that they had a vendetta against him.

Denny Hamlin went on to say, “I believe that Kyle is kind of a conspiracy theorist in the sense of like he thinks everyone’s down to get him. That’s not true, obviously. But I think he’s just always had that chip off like, you know, ‘It’s him against the world’ and I don’t believe… I don’t know if that’s what he needs to fire himself up, but certainly, I think that’s his mentality.”
The aggressive driving style of Denny Hamlin and his reputation in NASCAR
Busch’s behavior on the track has also been compared to that of Joey Logano, who is known for his friendly demeanor off the track but aggressive driving style on it. When asked about other drivers who exhibit this behavior, Denny coyly responded, “The driver, the one.”

It’s clear that there is some tension between Denny Hamlin and Kyle Busch. Busch’s competitive drive has helped him become one of the most successful drivers in NASCAR history. However, his reputation as a hothead has also caused him to have his fair share of detractors.
Denny’s comments suggest that he sees Busch’s behavior as a result of a “him against the world” mentality, rather than an actual belief in conspiracies. While this may be true, it’s clear that Busch’s reputation for aggressive driving has put a target on his back.

In the world of NASCAR, where emotions run high and tempers flare, rivalries are common. However, when it comes to accusations of conspiracy theories, it’s important to separate fact from fiction.
