Ryan Blaney started out the 2024 season with a series of crashes. His wreck-filled reception was turned around in Atlanta when he thundered into second place after delivering a photo finish. However, his first-ever Cup championship is still not off the popularity charts. That prestigious win came with a glittering prize, and Blaney did not hesitate to satisfy his fiance.

Last year’s championship race saw Blaney coming off of a winless 2022 season. He snapped a drab streak of 59 races across two years at the Coca-Cola 600 in May. But he seized the real glory at the final Cup race in Phoenix. It was Team Penske’s second consecutive championship win, and they celebrated phenomenally. So did Ryan Blaney and his fiance.

Blaney had been together with Gianna Tulio for almost four years. Working as a model for the Hooters brand, it is not clear how Tulio met with the NASCAR driver. But their relationship reached a new height in December last year. The couple announced their engagement on 12-12-23, an apt date matching Blaney’s No. 12 car.

Blaney recently joined the Steve Cochran Show to share insights on his post-championship celebration. The host asked Blaney: “You spoil yourself when you get big NASCAR money to go buy yourself something cool?”

At first, Blaney mentioned his modest lifestyle, starkly contrasting the shiny prizes that NASCAR showers him with. “I’ve never really treated myself too much, you know. I just try to do what I need to get kinda get by.”

But he then admitted about one huge spend that he and his fiance indulged in. “I will say that we…ended up building a pool. That’s the big spender there on the Championship. My fiance was wearing me out about a pool, for about a year. I made her a deal last year, ‘I win the championship, we’ll get a pool.” He also mentioned that the pool is in-ground.

Both Ryan Blaney and his fiance Tulio are aiming for an electrifying racing season in 2024. He has already wowed his fans by being a part of the spectacular finish in Atlanta. Last year, he added color to his rich family legacy by taking home the championship trophy.

For a long time, Blaney had dreamed of bringing to his family a championship trophy. After he finally did, he dedicated it to his dad. “He’s been not only someone I grew up wanting to be like and wanting to do his sport, obviously getting me started in racing, supported me along the way, opened a lot of doors for me.”

After his eighth Cup Series victory, Blaney is looking forward to more thrilling races ahead.
