It’s worth noting that Technical Sgt. Michael J. Agallo is a soprano vocalist from the United States Air Force Band. He has two degrees in music and a background in both operatic and musical theatre. He along with the Singing Sergeants, a group of 24 active-duty musicians performed ahead of the Daytona 500.
Apart from his performance, the presence of President Donald Trump was also celebrated by the fans. Trump arrived in his armored limousine, mirroring his 2020 appearance. This time he didn’t give the command, but paced the track once again. He was also spotted with The King Richard Petty and other NASCAR legends around the track. However, the real hero for fans was none other than Technical Sgt. Michael J. Agallo.

Although he received a huge cheer from fans in the arena, social media quickly slammed him for his performance. Many questioned his presence and way of representing the patriotic anthem. However, now focus has shifted to the Daytona 500 which is currently under the red flag because of untimely rain showers.
