A driver’s courage, determination, and commitment to their sport are truly evident when they choose to race despite a painful injury. History has shown us many examples of racers who have pushed through physical discomfort to compete at the highest level.

One such instance involved Tony Stewart‘s driver, who showcased immense bravery after sustaining a serious injury during a dirt late model race the night before a Cup Series race in Bristol.

Undeterred by the injury, the Stewart-Haas Racing driver persevered through the weekend. Albeit, wearing a brace on his hand. The latest news reveals that he will undergo surgery for his broken finger, but not until after the upcoming Martinsville race.

The fearless driver was none other than Chase Briscoe. He recently took to social media to inform the NASCAR community about his injury and share updates on his condition.
