It is interesting to note that there is something that connects NASCAR driver Daniel Suarez and F1 star Max Verstappen. As it turns out, Verstappen is dating Kelly Piquet and Suarez is dating her sister Julia.
Obviously at some point, the two of them would have met and interacted with each other. Suarez even attended the inaugural Miami F1 race and spoke to the Dutchman on a few occasions.

“Yeah, we actually talked quite a bit about that. And believe it or not, even before he knew about me, he follows NASCAR. He enjoys it, and he thinks it’s very crazy and it’s a lot of fun to watch,” Suarez said of Verstappen.
“It’s fun (to see) he’s doing everything he’s doing in Formula One and being very, very successful, I’m doing my thing in NASCAR and once in a while, maybe in the offseason, we can get together and have a little fun outside of racing.”

What lies ahead for Daniel Suarez and Max Verstappen?
At the moment, both drivers are in the midst of their respective NASCAR and F1 campaigns. Verstappen is battling with Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc, as he hunts for his second title.

Meanwhile, Suarez stunned many when he romped to victory at the Sonoma Raceway. This qualified him for the Playoffs, alongside Trackhouse Racing teammate Ross Chastain.
This has only shown how much the outfit has grown, with both drivers racking up wins. Suarez’s Playoff qualification also means that he is in the hunt for the title, theoretically.

However, it would be a little unbelievable to consider him a serious title threat, as his teammate Chastain is stronger. Additionally, the likes of Hendrick Motorsports and Joe Gibbs Racing are the perennial title contenders.
