Hailie Deegan is all set to take the next step in her already high-profile career. Her young age has certainly played no part in the way she has moved up the ladder, but on some level, it has played a big role.

Because Deegan has quite a following, in millions rather on social media.

And it is this aspect of her brand that attracts other brands and sponsors to her.

Now, her moving up the ranks in the NASCAR ladder is certainly a big positive for her, her fans, and her associates. After all, she is one of the most promising young drivers out there in the world of stock car racing.

But at the same time, some of the fans felt it was primarily her presence amongst the sponsors and media that got her the shot at Xfinity Series racing.

It’s also worth mentioning that when Deegan teased this announcement, many fans, who more or less, saw it coming, expressed their strong disapproval then as well.

The scary experience of Hailie Deegan highlights the pitfalls of being so famous

Earlier this year, Hailie Deegan announced that she would not be taking part in a race along with the reason for her doing so.

Deegan revealed that she chose to miss the race because she was fearful for her life as she mentioned being heckled by a stalker in a video titled, ‘Our Lives Are Being Threatened.’

The stalker had threatened to kill her boyfriend, Chase Cabre because he thought that Deegan is a victim of physical abuse at the hands of her boyfriend.

“None of that is true,” Deegan said in the video. “I went to the extent of messaging him, literally just trying to break down the situation, ‘Dude, you’re getting catfished. This isn’t me, my boyfriend does not beat me.

Deegan added how the whole ordeal had become “a nuisance” in their lives, that they were clueless as to what to do with the whole situation,

“If you are watching this video right now … just please stop,” Cabre added. “I’m not threatening, I’m doing anything … I’m just saying, it’s over. It’s not real. Just leave it alone.”
