Patrick has been consistently advocating a carnivorous diet, and her views of veganism are not new to her social media platform. She draws her views on veganism after her ill plight with veganism. She was seen commenting under a post, I went through my own journey of questioning protein and feeling bad for the animals and I eat a lot of meat now. Makes me feel significantly better!”

And, her recent Instagram story only further cemented her thoughts on veganism. She shared a video that highlighted the dangers of vegetables, most of them being carcinogenic. In her story, she said, “Interesting. The less vegetables I eat, the healthier I become. The least healthy I was…was when I tried to be mainly plant-based. No more analysis needed.” It is not her first time sharing her thoughts candidly in stories though, and she previously put out a bold statement against vegans.

While even huge motorsport stars like Lewis Hamilton are vegan, Patrick is definitely not on that list. But now she has found her ally with none other than poster boy, Chase Elliot.

Then in 2018, Jeff Gluck, a NASCAR reporter, gave Elliot a hypothetical scenario where Elliot would get a head start by NASCAR at No.1 pit stall if he went vegan for a month. Elliot said “No, absolutely not. No. I’ll take my chances,” emphasizing his fondness for meat. He cemented the feeling by saying, “I’m pretty strict on a grilled chicken-type lunch with rice and corn.”

Elliot’s probably in her good books now, with his clear-cut views. Patrick’s experience in health and fitness and her insights carry weight and her followers resonate with it. We can only wait and watch what more this multi-faceted star has to share.
