Our brain is a very mysterious thing. And we still don’t know so many things about it. So, if you are someone who likes to ponder about such things, you’re not alone. In fact, Former NASCAR and IndyCar driver, Danica Patrick, wonders the same thing.

Furthermore, she recently revealed the question that keeps her awake at night.

In an episode of her podcast, Pretty Intense, Patrick was in conversation with Destination Truth and Stranded host and co-executive producer, Josh Gates. The former host is also hosting the Discovery Channel show, Expedition Unknown. In conversation with him, Danica revealed the number 1 question that she thinks about every day.

Gates said, “The power of our brain is so mysterious to us. This entire reality in front of us. Who decided the spiritual thing? Let’s pretend there’s none of that. Let’s pretend it’s all chemical, right?”

“It just means that what you think is happening around you, your perception of the world, it’s just this thing that your brain is making and telling you that here’s what’s in front of you. Just signals coming into your eyes and your brain is like, here’s what’s there. And your brain can alter that. It can change that.”

He added, “And then you go, ‘wait what’s real? What is reality? What the heck am I?'”

To which Patrick said, “Welcome to my No. 1 question I think about every day.”

Although Patrick is a fan of shows like Expedition Unknown and various other movies, she has a confession that might baffle you.
