Besides her outspoken attitude and straightforward approach, former IndyCar and NASCAR sensation, Danica Patrick is a pretty simple person in real life who loves her pets as much as she loves the spotlight and the attention that comes with it. Recently, Patrick shared a wholesome clip of her with her canine buddies. Taking it to Instagram, the former Stewart-Haas Racing driver shared a short story, revealing how “Diva Dallas” gets what she wants while her other buddy is too busy with guard duties.

Patrick shares her furry friend’s “panting method” and treats the community with a wholesome story 

For many, female racecar driver Danica Patrick might have a controversial personality, with her infamous reputation superseding her on-track achievements. Fans’ love-and-hate relationship with the former driver has always been the topic of quite a few debates in the community. While she was pretty insensitive with her approach, she has another side to her personality as well. Patrick recently shared a wholesome short clip of her doggo buddy, Dallas, who is quite a personality herself.

In the IG story, Diva Dallas gave Danica Patrick the usual look before the driver asked, “What? What do you want? What is it Dallas? Dallas? Walk? Or is it food? Which one? Which one? Is it walk or food? Walk? That’s it.” After treating her buddy, Dallas was at peace, which urged the 41-year-old to post a thread of multiple stories, revealing her “quiet aggressive” approach and “panting method.”

The thread had the caption, “Love her quiet aggressive commitment to getting what she wants,” revealing her doggo’s peculiar trait of throwing a tantrum to get what she wants. She then posted another status with the caption that summed up Dallas’ personality, “Diva Dallas. She wants something. Which is pretty easy..walk or food. She wins every time.”

Though her NASCAR career never really took off, Patrick was certainly an attention-grabber in open-wheel racing after her iconic win in Japan, becoming the first-ever lady to win an IndyCar race. This monumental win got Danica Patrick on the map, after which she slowly transitioned into stock car racing.

Despite the unfavorable odds and her lackluster NASCAR career, which was blemished by frequent wrecks, Patrick was the face of the sport, representing the ladies. Even after she retired from the sport following the 2017 season, Patrick is still a prominent name in racing, with the former driver donning the role of a presenter in F1 on Sky Sports.
