We all have our heroes. For some of us, it’s our parents, for some it’s the icons of the field they want to be or are successful in, and for some, it’s just icons that are so influential that they fall under no bracket of culture, industry, or even time period. The hero of the former NASCAR driver Danica Patrick falls under the last category.

In a recent Instagram story, Patrick revealed a card that had a famous saying and a quote from her hero. In fact, she claimed it was her “favorite quote.”

“Whether you think you can or you think you can’t, you’re right,” read the quote in her story.
