Former NASCAR and IndyCar driver Danica Patrick was no stranger to confrontation and rivalries. Back in 2015, during a race in Martinsville, she horrendously failed to try and purposefully wreck the car of David Gilliland. She not only failed at her attempt but also managed to wreck herself in the process.

Patrick tried to wreck David on turn 3 but instead spun out herself. Then she just waited for a while as David came around the track she chased him and punted her car into the rear of Gilliland.
In the process, she wrecked herself, as David continued on. Apparently, Gilliland had tried to squeeze Patrick into the wall earlier in the race, which seemed to have enraged Danica to the point that she deemed wrecking him as a necessary venture.
She went on her team radio to say, “He tries to take me out every time. Tell his spotter that I’m coming after him if he does it again. In fact, I might just do it right now.”

In 2005, at the Homestead Miami race, Danica Patrick not only made her debut but also was involved in a horror crash. She clipped her car with another and hit the wall so hard that she ended up losing consciousness altogether.
According to Danica, the impact was so hard it registered around the 150G mark. Her car was partially on fire as it slid down the track post impact. She regained her consciousness only at the medical center where she was united with her concerned mother.
