In the latest episode of Pretty Intense, Patrick had a chat with Market Briefs CEO and Investment guru, Jaspreet Singh. And as a businesswoman herself, she had quite an interesting chat. But of course, the topic of Warren Buffett came up, and the two started chatting about how he built his empire.
Interestingly, Buffett still invests, but according to Singh, that’s his secret. He pointed it out as he said, “Look at some of the wealthiest people in the world. Look at Warren Buffett. Why does he still get up and work? Like he has all the money in the world. I mean, you can literally just fly around your private jet and do the most exotic things in the world.”
So, why does the Berkshire Hathaway CEO still work and invest despite having a multi-billion dollar empire? Of course, “Well, he likes what he does. He likes researching companies. He gets a certain excitement out of it that you don’t get out of doing other things. And so for him, it’s that matter of purpose.”
That sure makes sense. And Singh explained further how big businessmen like the ones we see at Shart Tank invest not for the money. But because they enjoy the process of being an entrepreneur.
But did you know Patrick is an entrepreneur herself?
