Even after her retirement in 2017, Danica Patrick still remains a prominent figure in NASCAR. Though the driver-turned-entrepreneur is done and dusted with racing, she is a part-time presenter for SkySports and active in Formula 1 circles.

While she is the only female to date to win an IndyCar race, shattering expectations and making a strong statement in the Indy Japan 300 back in 2008, in the NASCAR world she is infamous for her hard wrecks. Despite her fame and fortune in the open wheel promotion, Danica Patrick couldn’t emulate the same with Stock Cars.

Now with Stewart-Haas Racing revealing Noah Gragson’s new livery for Phoenix, the fandom got flashbacks of Patrick’s #10 GoDaddy car, which was a common cause of ruckus on the track.

Noah Gragson’s new Pheonix livery has shades of the #10 car of Danica Patrick

So far, Stewart-Haas Racing’s #10 driver, Noah Gragson, has brought the momentum back to the Ford camp. Except for an untimely penalty and an unfortunate DNF in Atlanta, Gragson has scored two top-10s in three races to start off his 2024 campaign. He finished P9 in Daytona and snagged 6th place at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

Riding on this momentum, Tony Stewart’s team revealed the #10’s new shade, inspired by its sponsor, Servpro for Phoenix. However, what the fans saw was a souped-up version of Danica Patrick’s #10 GoDaddy SHR car. With the team unveiling the new colors, fans bombarded the post with comments like, With those colors you could think Danica is back.”

For the unversed and newbie fans out there, Danica Patrick was a former SHR driver who drove the #10 car when she transitioned into NASCAR from IndyCar. While the lady driver brought in major sponsorships, her NASCAR career never really took off but instead became infamous for her wrecks. In total, her tally of crashes goes up to 18 throughout her racing career. As the new look of #10 makes its rounds on the internet, fans couldn’t help but notice the similarities between the Gragson’s and Patrick’s cars.

Yes, the similarities are strikingly close. Both the cars have coats of green and orange. While Gragson’s racecar has a lighter tone with the orange accent splatter more often, it shares a close resemblance with Danica Patrick’s #10 Chevy with the green shade on the sides. Even though Patrick’s car had dual tones with an orange shade running across the middle and a green accent on the sides, at first glance, anyone can notice the similarities.
