The NASCAR world saw a lot of action, fun, and drama at The Clash at the Coliseum recently. While everyone had something to say, it was Truck Series driver Hailie Deegan who had the funniest encounter at the location. Can you guess what that could be?
Recently Deegan was at The Clash and posted a note on her Twitter describing a funny incident. She wrote, “Was leaving the clash and noticed something funny. There were so many USC guys walking around in just shirtless overalls with cowboy hats. I thought to myself ‘damn they really think us NASCAR people dress that redneck.’” While she thought the dress-up was not very sophisticated, a lot of agreement came in from the fans.

People in LA are NASCAR people. I'm from California been a fan of the sport for decades and a USC fan. Have you never raced at Fontana or Sonoma to know that?

I think you missed understood , people were dressing like it’s Halloween . They think “ I’m going to NASCAR so I better dress up like a hillbilly “ . The only people would dress like that are the ones dressing up .

I'm sure it was just dress up at the YMCA club.

Hailie Deegan’s move to Truck Series
The 2020 ARCA Menards Series Rookie of the Year, Deegan made a move to the Truck Series and will be entering her third season. She has gathered varied experience with her participation in racing off-road and on dirt since the beginning of her career. For the move, she put on hold her aspirations for the NASCAR Xfinity Series as she found comfort in truck racing. Fans believe she should move up, and her big move to Thorsport Racing may reward her soon. However, it looks like she might believe in following the quote ‘slow and steady wins the race’ while she prepares for this year’s season. Despite criticism of being a woman, she is onto creating a path for herself with all the potential she carries.
