The winner of the 2024 All-Star Race is Team Penske’s No. 22 driver, Joey Logano. But that’s probably not what’s revolving around in your head, right? Logano scripted history by dominating 199 of 200 laps in his season’s first victory. But the post-race brawl majorly overshadows Logano’s break of a year-long winless streak. And it is exciting for veteran driver Dale Earnhardt Jr as well.

After Kyle Busch took revenge for a three-wide situation, Ricky Stenhouse Jr waited for payback. His pent-up emotions boiled over for the length of the race, and he finally found a vent when he landed his first blow on Busch’s left cheek. The fight that followed tickled fans, as did Dale Earnhardt Jr, who cheekily suggested a maneuver.

Tensions were raised at the NWS All-Star Race. Even though it was a non-points race, the hefty cash prize of $1 Million lured the eyes of many. Hence, Ricky Stenhouse Jr was eager from lap 1, but in the process, he got on Rowdy’s radar. Kyle Busch wrecked the No. 47 soon after and the battered car limped out of the race. But Stenhouse was furious, as he parked his car in the RCR pit box and climbed out to deliver a message to Busch’s crew chief. He fumed over the wrecked efforts, claiming, “We had a really good game plan coming in. Our car was really strong. Friday in practice I was looking forward to running to the front. I think we’d pass a couple of cars there. I was excited for the rest of the night and he ruined it.”

Some people wondered why he did not leave the venue. The reason is that there is no tunnel at North Wilkesboro Speedway. So drivers need to wait till the race is over, and this was an additional source of frustration for the driver. Stenhouse agreed to the matter, mentioning, “Being stuck in here definitely doesn’t help the frustration, if there was a tunnel I’d have probably been at home watching the end of that.” Hence, Dale Earnhardt Jr made a troublemaker statement after the ruckus subsided. He suggested choking the rest of the tracks as well so that we can see more driver drama., saying, “Cement up all the tunnels at these tracks.”

Moreover, Dale Earnhardt Jr adopted a similar tone while addressing the overall race execution. He rooted for a bottled-up situation to corner the lead drivers, remarking, “Fun race to watch. Had its moments. Definitely wanted more of a battle up front. BUT! This NWB Speedway track is awesome with the repave. Need a full field of cars on it to stifle the leader with lap traffic. Maybe one day it’ll get that points race.” This chaos-loving approach of Earnhardt Jr made some jaws drop among fans.

Dale Earnhardt Jr’s stance significantly digresses from his usual stance, as he speaks out against on-track fighters. For instance, he had labeled Ross Chastain and Carson Hocevar as the novel “s**t-stirrers” of NASCAR.

Hence, some racing fans were genuinely surprised. One fan waxed disbelief at Dale Earnhardt Jr’s personalized “s**t-stirrer” touch. “Boy I’ve never known an Earnhardt to stir the pot 😂😂.” Another fan chimed in, labeling the veteran racer for his aggressive stance: “you vile 😭😂😂.”

But a few others were plainly thrilled by the suggestion. One fan was evidently hungry for more beef. “I LOVE IT @DaleJr !!! Keeping people trapped stewing in anger in the infield sounds like some fun. Make it so!!!”

A few came up with their own ideas. One fan suggested an improvement to Dale Earnhardt Jr’s idea. “Concrete Dale, cement is just a powder.” Another fan proposed tweaking the race track: “Nothing like having a speed bump that makes you hit the wall..”

Given the authority that Dale Earnhardt Jr holds with his popular voice, fans quite naturally loved this cheeky suggestion. Let us see what NASCAR will have to say or do about this.
