JR Motorsports unveils special plans for racing fans

In a groundbreaking move, Dale Jr. and JR Motorsports announced the inaugural Driven To Give 400. The Racing event, set to dazzle NASCAR fans, is scheduled for January 29, 2025, at Iowa Speedway’s virtual layout. However, ahead of the event, NASCAR Hall of Famer Dale Jr. explained how fans can also interact with their favorite drivers during the game.

In a recent Instagram post, JR Motorsports wrote, “Iowa. Mini Stocks. January 29th. You’ve got the chance to race against your favorite JR Motorsports driver in 2025 Driven To Give 400 Presented by High Rock Vodka. Buy a team, Buy a caution, or Buy a penalty for your favorite driver. All in support of The Dale Jr. Foundation. Sign up now.”

Notably, NASCAR and iRacing enthusiasts alike will see Dale Jr. himself compete alongside JRM drivers Justin Allgaier, Carson Kvapil, and Sammy Smith. Joining them are names like Josh Berry, Rajah Caruth, and even IndyCar legend Tony Kanaan. Fans are buzzing with excitement as this event bridges the gap between real-world racing and virtual motorsports. However, to join Dale Jr. and the team, one has to pay anything between $25 to $400 for different slots.

It’s worth noting that all the profits and money will go to a special cause through the Dale Jr. Foundation. Notably, TDJF has been at the forefront of charitable efforts since its inception. With a mission to empower underprivileged individuals, particularly youth, TDJF provides resources for education and confidence-building.

Over the years, the foundation has raised more than $11 million and partnered with over 300 charities, including Make-A-Wish, Blessings in a Backpack, and Nationwide Children’s Hospital. By hosting events like the Driven To Give 400, TDJF merges Earnhardt’s love for racing with his philanthropic goals. The funds raised during this event will go toward supporting local communities and creating opportunities for those in need.

Dale Jr. is set to make a racing comeback

While the Driven To Give 400 is already creating a buzz, Dale Earnhardt Jr. has more surprises in store for 2025. Staying true to his racing roots, Earnhardt plans to compete in the zMAX CARS Tour, a series he co-owns with other NASCAR veterans. On April 12, 2025, Dale Jr will make his first track appearance of the season.

He will be joining the historic Cars Tour debut at Cordele Motor Speedway in Georgia. Dale Jr. expressed his excitement, stating, “Fans in the area have expressed excitement about this race being added to the schedule. Our teams are looking forward to this new challenge.” Notably, Cordele Motor Speedway recently underwent major renovations under new ownership.

Since last year, their new owners have been trying to get some racing back on track and Dale Jr. joins the movement. Apart from the Cordele appearance, Dale Jr. will also compete in other CARS Tour events. He will hit the track again during the August race at Florence Motor Speedway. By balancing his duties as a team owner and occasional driver, Dale Jr. continues to redefine his legacy in motorsports.
