A good season should lay the groundwork for an excellent season ahead. Dale Earnhardt Jr.’s Xfinity Series team has done exactly that in 2024. Justin Allgaier was the star of the show – despite a tense season overall, he clinched 2 wins, 20 top-tens, and a series-high 16 stage victories. At the Phoenix race, he won the Xfinity championship – JR Motorsports’ first title since 2018. So the team is ready for a revamp.
With two new talented drivers preparing to join the bandwagon, 2025 may be another banger of a season. As the prospects look solid for Dale Jr.’s team, preparations are underway to give it a new look as well. The latest styles released for the team’s cars are stunning, as seen in a post on X.

Racecars in NASCAR are usually important for carrying sponsorship pictures. When Justin Allgaier hoisted the checkered flag for the 2024 Xfinity title, he was proud to boast his old sponsor on the No. 7 Chevrolet. Brandt, an agricultural firm based in his hometown of Springfield, Illinois, had supported him since 2011. The company had his back even during his short Cup Series tenure with HScott Motorsports. Similarly, new inductee Carson Kvapil will sport the colors of Bass Pro Shops on the No. 1 Chevrolet next season. However, JR Motorsports got an upgrade not in terms of sponsor outlook, but in terms of its brand logo.
Ryan Williams, a professional designer in Charlotte, North Carolina, has designed over 100 cars for Dale Earnhardt Jr.‘s team. This creative genius posted his most recent innovation for JR Motorsports ahead of the 2025 season, and it does not disappoint. Williams shared the revamped ‘fiery’ brand logo on X, describing the changes in the caption. “Also formally launched the new JRM logo today. I took the existing mark and cleaned up a lot of the backend anchoring and corners, went from 4 colors to 2 – plus dumped the extra JR on the bottom text.”

While this was the official logo, Williams also shared the one to be used for the noses of Dale Earnhardt Jr.’s cars. Merchandise and social products will also get this touch. “There was a lot of dialog online a few months ago about this logo – this is our new secondary mark which will be used on the nose of the cars, various social and merch uses, anytime the primary gets scaled too small really.” To make things easier to understand, Williams shared two pictures for comparison. While the older ‘JR Motorsports‘ logo was a little blurry due to small lettering, the newer ‘JRM’ logo is clearly visible.
These updates come alongside the roping in of a new sponsor for the new season.

Ready to support the fresh hands

Well, Dale Earnhardt Jr. has probably acquired two prodigal racers for the 2025 season. First, 18-year-old Connor Zilisch – the teenage phenom clinched the 24 Hours of Daytona and 12 Hours of Sebring when he was 17. What is more jaw-dropping, on his Xfinity debut in 2024, Zilisch won the race in Watkins Glen – leading 45 of 90 laps. Yet Zilisch is not alone, as Carson Kvapil also brings a ton of talent. He is a two-time and defending champion of the zMAX CARS Tour. Kvapil also won one of the prestigious Late Model events in the country, the ValleyStar Credit 300 at Martinsville Speedway. So mentoring these two speedsters would require a great deal of effort, which one sponsor is willing to give.
JR Motorsports announced the return of long-time partner Roto-Rooter as a sponsor for the upcoming season. Sponsoring the No. 88 and the No. 1 teams for Zilisch and Kvapil, the company has a tall task that Thad Reinhard, President of Roto-Rooter, completely understands. “This partnership brings together two hard-working household names and leaders in their respective industries. We thank Dale and Kelley for building such a phenomenal team and we look forward to another exciting season on the track with such deserving, young race car drivers.” Kelley Earnhardt Miller, JR Motorsports CEO, also said: “It’s great to see how much our partnership has grown already in the short time that we’ve been together and I can’t wait to see what the future holds.”
