The surname Earnhardt in the world of NASCAR does carry a lot of pertinence and also a certain amount of power. Whether it was the Intimidator himself or his son, Dale Earnhardt Jr., both of these individuals are perhaps the most loved and celebrated personalities in the NASCAR paddock. Moreover, the presence of Dale Jr. in the sport is surely requested, given his experience in the sport.
Dale Earnhardt Jr., who has long hanged his helmet and bid his farewell to the world of professional racing, is still an integral part of the world of NASCAR. Apart from co-owning JR Motorsports, which houses drivers like Kevin Harvick and Josh Berry, Junior is also part of NBC’s NASCAR booth, providing insights into the sport.
However, it seems that his dominance is restricted within the world of asphalt, as his wife seemingly prefers Junior’s team member over his husband for Junior’s certain traits in a question-answer series.

Apart from the Busch couple and the Wallace couple, the other couple that has been a total fan favorite among the fans is perhaps the Earnhardts. Dale Jr. and Amy have been adored and loved by NASCAR fans since the beginning of their relationship. Moreover, the couple has exhibited a strong sense of trust and faith in each other, which has made their bond stronger with each passing day.
However, in the strong bond that is shared between the two lovebirds, it seems that there are certain traits that seem to irk Junior’s better half. This was apparent in the latest episode of Hot Seat, introduced by the couple’s vodka venture, “High Rock Vodka.’ The episode was graced by the substitute driver for Hendrick Motorsports, Josh Berry, apart from the couple themselves.
In the episode, the co-owner of JR Motorsports stated, “My wife Amy and Josh Berry, they are gonna ask questions and I am gonna answer which one I think is correct.”
The first question is, “Who is more likely to reply to your text within a minute?”

While Berry and Junior picked up Amy Earnhardt, Junior’s better half picked up Josh Berry as her choice. To this, the 2x Daytona winner asserted jestingly, “Josh!”
As a reply, Amy expressed, “Sometimes I lose my phone in the house, and I am not texting you back in a minute.” Her husband asked, “So you picked him not knowing.”
Amy shared the reason behind her pick, “You talk to him a lot. You are always on the phone talking to somebody.” Josh Berry added, “Oh boy!”

These instances perhaps assert the charm of marriages with their own touch of bittersweetness. Nevertheless, it is surely evident that the bond between Dale Jr. and his better half seems to get stronger with each passing day. Moreover, it is apparent that the former Cup Series driver lets her wife call the shots when it comes to handling the household, and a complete sense of transparency is maintained between the two.
This was apparent in the 12-question interview with the athlete. He asserted that both he and his wife share each other’s locations on their phones. He revealed, “I’ll be honest: So I and Amy share locations on our phones 24/7. And I like that. She doesn’t have to text me, “Where are you at?” Because that text of “Where are you?” has no tone to it. You could take it 100 different ways, right? A text conversation can go off the rails very quickly.
“So she doesn’t have to wonder, “What are you doing? Where are you at?” She can look and see, “Oh hey, I see you’re over here. Would you go by Publix and pick up the groceries?” So we share our location and I’ve always kind of liked that,” Junior asserted.
