Kicking off the return of the track, Dale Jr‘s better half Amy Earnhardt teased the community about their fantastic night on the track ahead of the highly anticipated race.

Now with the iconic raceway making its way into the Cup Series roster after a lengthy 27 years, the community shared its gratitude to Dale Jr and his timely effort that saw the track come back to life. It was actually the veteran driver’s passion for the traditional sport that initiated discussions with the Speedway Motorsports CEO, which in turn prompted NC state to fund and resurrect the track.

Despite, the short track being a fan favorite among diehard fans of the sport, North Wilkesboro saw a steady decline in popularity as a major chunk of the audience preferred newer modern tracks rather than the outdated and ruined track. And now with the track hosting its first-ever Cup Series event after 27 years, celebrations are going full swing.

Recently, Amy Earnhardt took to her Instagram as she revealed the colorful music events that featured country musicians on stage while having a ball with her dear husband and the man of the hour, Dale Jr. The post had three images, one featured the group in great spirits alongside the talented HMS speedster.

Country musicians Chase Rice and Midland gave the crowd a soothing sensation with their country blues tunes. The wholesome post was received well by the fans as well and they soon joined the frenzy.
