Make room, Kyle Busch. It’s not your time to shine anymore. With his children currently making waves at the Tulsa Shootout, the Busch family’s star dynamics are changing for sure! While Brexton Busch etched his name into this event’s rich history over the weekend, off the track, it was Lennix Key, whose adorable show of support stole fans’ hearts. And it seems even Dale Earnhardt Jr‘s sister, Kelley Earnhardt Miller, has turned into a fan. But before we get to that part…

For nine-year-old Brexton, his year-long efforts have finally paid off. Or as Mama Busch put it, “He’s worked at this all year. He was so upset last year. Literally every race he went to [last year], he’s like, ‘I’m doing to for Tulsa! I’m doing it for the Driller!’ And he did. SO HAPPY!” What’s the feat? Well, the budding driver became a Golden Driller winner by winning the Junior Sprint Division (A-Main) at the Tulsa Shootout, outracing a 20-car field. Kyle Larson’s son, Owen, on the other hand, finished P6—it was his debut race.

And Brexton’s father was even more elated. Coming off of a lackluster NASCAR season, and then spinning in the head-to-head qualifier at Tulsa—he started and finished 12th—this celebration was much needed. “I think this is more stress and more butterflies on me here for him, than it is for the Daytona 500. I mean, this is just such a huge deal. It means so much as a family, and what we do, and what we pour our lives into, and how we take away from our anniversary week…We spent it in Tulsa every year now. So…this is worth it! The Driller is worth it.”

“Just can’t be prouder of the boy, and everything that he’s done…!” the two-time NASCAR Cup Series champion said. But also stealing the show was little Lennix—a constant cheerleader for her dad and brother. On January 5, she made an appearance on her mom’s Instagram page, donning a neon pink fire suit, with her hair tied into a space bun. Captioned, “Lennix is convinced she’s racing today too 😂💖🏁🏆,” the string of photos showed the little girl look as professional as Samantha described her…

However, the little princess inside her couldn’t be contained for long. In one of the photos, she smiled adorably alongside her parents, while in another, she tried to hold her brother’s hand (who was sitting inside his vehicle) in no demeanor less than a professional’s, with her tongue out. Samantha Busch’s post perfectly encapsulated the love in their family with adorable pictures of Lennix with her dad and Brexton before they took to the tracks at the Tulsa Expo Center in Oklahoma. So, it’s understandable why the community would jump in to compliment the little girl, as did Kelley Earnhardt Miller.

“She is just too cute. Both of your kids have the best personalities,” the JR Motorsports CEO wrote in a heartwarming instance.

The Tulsa Shootout will end on January 4, so Lennix might have to save her skills for next year. However, once this is wrapped up, Kyle Busch will be seen entering the Chilli Bowl Nationals. He will be doing so with NASCAR stars like Kyle Larson and Christopher Bell. Given that the 2024 season was deplorable for him with not a single victory, this one was indeed much needed.

However, as Kyle Busch prepares for his next challenge, other fans also showered with Lennix with love on social media.

Racing community turns into fans for Lennix Busch

Samantha’s post about daughter Lennix has got everyone gushing and fans cannot help but shower their admiration on the little one. A fan who has been quite quick to comment and express her admiration for the Busch kids. Given how Samantha is quite regular in sharing updates about her kids, most people know about what the Busch kids are up to. Taking to the post, a comment read, “The cutest little driver ever! The sight of all 3 of them in a firesuit is precious 🥲🤍”. Another fan could not help but gush over the cuteness that Lennix exhibits. Taking to the post, she commented, “Goodness! She’s so cute”. 

Fans have mostly been quite positive towards the Busch family, especially when it comes to their kids. They have been quick to shower their blessings on the Busch kids and this time too a fan commented, “So darn cute! Love you Lenni ! 🩷😘”. However, there is also anticipation from fans that Lennix might truly turn out to be a driver someday, given her glorious racing lineage. A fan pointed out how she sees resemblances with Hailie Deegan and commented, “Hailie Deegan 2.0. I see the vision”. 

Lennix Busch’s charm and budding presence have fans already envisioning a bright future in racing for the little star. With her infectious personality and racing lineage, she’s capturing hearts—and perhaps, paving the way for her track debut someday.
