If we’re being completely honest, parenting is no walk in the park. Sometimes, parenting can be difficult, and it depends on the ages of the children. In light of this Amy Earnhardt, wife of Dale Earnhardt Jr, sympathised with a few parents. Especially those parents, whose children were toddlers, as they can be difficult to control.

She shared an Instagram post about the subject of parenting toddlers. The post said, “Let’s all take a moment of silence for toddler parents. As we prepare for a day of chasing our overstimulated children around in an un-baby-proofed house. After they’ve skipped their nap, and are powered only by dinner rolls and spite. Stay blessed.”

Dale Earnhardt Jr. is enjoying retired life with his family
The Instagram post was pretty relevant, because Dale Jr. is a father of two daughters. He and wife Amy welcomed their first child, Isla Rose Earnhardt, in 2018. Two years later, Isla became the proud older sister of Nicole Lorraine Earnhardt. In 2022, Isla would be four years old, and Nicole would be two, so the two girls essentially qualify as toddlers. Of course, one will be hoping that they are much better behaved, and don’t give their parents a hard time.

Recently, Dale Jr. competed in a Late Model Stock Car race at the Florence Motor Speedway. He had an adventurous race and finished ninth fastest after several incidents. The former Hendrick Motorsports driver is hardly the first active or semi-active NASCAR driver to have a family. It is worth mentioning that a number of other drivers have encouraged their children to take up racing. So far, Dale Jr’s children have not shown much interest, and he will probably not force them to do it. One thing is for sure, the former NASCAR driver is still active in the racing scene, even if it isn’t NASCAR.
