Silencing the doubters may at times feel fulfilling and even a dream come true. But is it okay to constantly focus on your haters rather than the things you have achieved? Dale Jr Download’s co-host, Mike Davis is worried about Bubba Wallace and his obsession with his haters.

While talking to Dale Earnhardt jr in an episode of the Dale Jr Download, Davis pointed out that he has observed a sense of resentment in the 23XI driver, Bubba Wallace’s reactions lately. Further, he compared Wallace’s reaction to how Kyle Busch and Todd Gilliland responded to their wins. Talking to Earnhardt Jr, Davis said; “Here’s my observation, in the random, about Bubba. One is you remember when Todd Gilliland won that 2019 truck race at Martinsville and he crossed the line? And the first thing out of his mouth which should have been elation and celebration was this resentment at the time towards Kyle Busch?”

Explaining how Wallace’s reaction reminded him of this event, Davis continued; “And I’m listening to Bubba Wallace in the in car. He’s like take that haters and whatever. And then even in his post-race interview where I thought he was going to probably lose it and cry, I sensed that there was some resentment.”

However, Davis did say that he doesn’t feel that it is wrong and knows that it was an authentic reaction owing to the things he has been through. But that’s what concerns him. He said; “If you’re instinctually going right to that chip on your shoulder or that resentment of haters or people that dis-pared you or whatever. It’s just telling me that that’s the first thing that comes to your mind when you win as you’re crossing the line.”
