Dale Earnhardt Jr. is the son of the legendary Dale Earnhardt Sr., a seven-time Cup Series winner. Junior himself is a former NASCAR driver and the present co-owner of JR Motorsports. He recently revealed his Thanksgiving meal preferences on a Dirty Mo Media podcast.

During the live-stream episode, Dale Earnhardt Jr. said that he prefers honey-baked ham with turkey. Admitting that it feels like cheating to choose ham over turkey on Thanksgiving, Earnhardt Jr. also acknowledged the feelings that Turkey might go through on the big day.

He said; “Turkey feels bad. Turkey feels insulted that it’s being uprooted by the Honey-Baked Ham. Thanksgiving is Turkey day, not Honey-Baked Ham day.”
However, he further explained that the honey-baked ham is so good that one has to have it. Hence, Dale Earnhardt Jr. chose taste over the ‘feelings of turkey’ on Thanksgiving day.

JRM drivers Noah Gragson, Justin Allgaier, and Josh Berry ranked second, third and fourth respectively on the points table. Gragson registered eight season wins, whereas Allgaier and Berry notched eight and six wins, respectively. The total wins by the team accounted for 42.4% of the wins in the entire season.

In fact, Josh Berry, the first driver to secure a place in the 2022 Xfinity finals, has also declared his continued association with JRM for the upcoming 2023 season. Hence, with such a successful season in his rearview, there is a lot for Earnhardt Jr to be thankful for this year. Also, with exceptional on-track performance, the prospective decision to enter the Cup Series realm seems like a logical next step for the team.
