Who does not like a good video game? Especially if it’s a racing simulation. While there are quite a lot of options for NASCAR gamers to choose from, iRacing certainly stands apart from the rest. While the video game culture is not all that new, understandably, the older fans or community members as not a fan of this prospect. However, for Dale Earnhardt Jr, it is a perfect gateway to stay connected to his racing roots, even if it’s in a virtual capacity.

There are a few perks to being the Executive director of a renowned video game like iRacing and Dale Jr is rightly making the most of it. Exercising the power of his position, the 49-year-old recently proposed to bring back a track on the simulation game this year. And guess what? The iRacing devotee made it happen. And all it took was just a few hours for him to approve the deal and contracts.

In a recent iRacing board meeting, Dale Jr aired a proposal to bring back an iconic track to the sim game. And the next thing you know, the proposal is now a final product. Explaining the scenario of how quickly things unfolded, Steve Myers, Executive Vice President at iRacing on X said, “So, @DaleJr brought up a track he wants in the sim during the board meeting yesterday afternoon. I sent him a contract at 2:25 pm today to get it signed. I received it back signed at 5:22 pm today. Dealer Dale did it again.”

Unfortunately for the eager fans, the entire details about the race track have been kept under the curtain. However, going by Dale Jr’s words, it sure promises to be an exciting prospect. Reacting to a post by Steve Myers, he replied, “😂😂 Well it IS unlike anything on the service.” It is evident that Dale Jr is not a fan of long procedures and lengthy delays and soon the fans will be greeted with a comeback of a racetrack on their simulators.

With the name of the track not seeing the light of day just yet, fans quickly took on the job of figuring out the venue that will soon feature in the game.

Like NASCAR fans, the iRacing gamers do not like to be kept in the dark, especially if they are being teased about getting something exciting. Dale Jr did his job in getting the new track approved in the board meeting, but he did notch up the anxious feeling for the fans as they were kept waiting for its reveal. Taking matters into their own hands, they started decoding the new track that will hit the simulator screen of iRacing.

A user was eager to get his hands on the new track and expressed his enthusiasm by stating, “I feel I need to ultimately know what track this is so I can get it Day 1 when it launches.”

One particular fan hinted at the new change for iRacing, “Is it your go-kart track? LOL,” another added, “Please tell me we’re finally getting your backyard go-kart track!

Making a hilarious guess, a user replied, “is it the esteemed nascar racing 2003 season community-made road course beer gut gully, that would be funny i think.”

Meanwhile other interesting assumptions were doing rounds, “GOTTA be nazareth”, “we getting AVUS?” and, “@iRacingMyers @iRacing its for one of the Asian or European road course tracks we’ve been asking for right?RIGHT?”

These guess games and speculations will keep on doing rounds unless there is an official announcement made by iRacing or Dale Jr himself.
