Later on in the coming weekend, the NASCAR Cup Series paddock will make landfall at the Nashville Superspeedway. In the build-up to the race, former NASCAR driver Dale Earnhardt Jr is teaming up with country music superstar Brad Paisley. Together, they have come up with the NBC Sports National Promotion Campaign.

It is worth mentioning that this is the first time the track is hosting a Cup Series race. In addition to that, this is the first time the Xfinity and Cup Series are competing at the Nashville Superspeedway. A few of the Cup Series drivers have won here before, but only in the Xfinity Series. These winners include Brad Keselowski, Kyle Busch, Joey Logano and Kevin Harvick.

What did Dale Earnhardt Jr and Brad Paisley say?
“I’m very excited that NASCAR has returned to Nashville after 37 years!” Paisley said. “By hosting NBC Sports pre-race coverage with fellow Dale Jr., we can start the 2021 NASCAR season. How cool will it be?”

The former Hendrick Motorsports driver also admitted that he was excited to work with the country music star. It is also note-worthy that Earnhardt Jr and Paisley will ride the Peacock Pitbox. Over here, the idea is to celebrate all the passionate racing enthusiasts in the city of Nashville, Tennessee.

Suffice to say, many drivers are quite excited to be back in Nashville. Keselowski, Logano, Harvick and Busch will be keen to return to the place of their Xfinity triumphs. Obviously, they will want to repeat it in the Cup Series as well. However, Kyle Larson will be a massive threat for their chances of triumphing.

This is because, he has gone on a 3-race winning streak. The latest race win came at the Texas Motor Speedway during the All-Star race. So far, the Hendrick drivers have been running riot, with the entire team notching up a 5-race winning streak.
