Recently, NASCAR Hall Of Famer Dale Earnhardt Jr made headlines by racing as part of the Cars Tour Action on Wednesday at North Wilkesboro Speedway.

This event at this speedway was an ecstatic experience for the owner of JR Motorsports. At the end of this event, Dale Jr was searching for the perfect spot to recalibrate. And guess where he found that perfect spot?

His wife.

Amy Earnhardt posted a photo of Dale Jr snuggling up to her two days after the event. In that photo, Dale jr quoted, “Took me two days to come down from Cloud 9″.

He also showed the perfect resting spot by mentioning, “Great spot to land“.

Dale Jr.’s wife described the situation of the former NASCAR Cup Series driver by saying, “Still recouperating after that 4 am North Wilks night” in the caption of the photo.

This North Wilkesboro track is a special place for the owner of JR Motorsports and the event was also a trip down the memory lane for Dale Jr.

Recently, Dale Earnhardt Jr took part in the CARS Tour’s Window World 125 at North Wilkesboro Speedway.

The Hall of Famer drove a #3 Sun Drop Chevrolet and the throwback paint scheme is also a tribute to the late model Dale Jr drove in ’93.

The owner of JRM has been an integral part of reviving this historic track. It recently opened again after being shut for almost about 25 years.

The result of the race was in the favor of JR Motorsports, with Carson Kvapil in the late model for JRM taking the checkered flag. Dale Jr finished in an impressive third place.
