It was days ago that Dale Earnhardt found himself on fire after his appearance in the Xfinity Series in Bristol. After successfully running up front throughout the race, the driver was seen hurriedly exiting his car after parking his car in the pit road. The hopes of earning a victory went up in flames after a potentially hazardous incident in his first of the two Xfinity Series appearances.

However, it seems that Junior is not only set to reappear and take his seat in the Xfinity Series but is also slated to race in one of the most coveted sprint car races. The news was announced by High Limits Racing, that the driver is set to appear on the track of Lernerville Speedway on September 26 for the Commonwealth Clash. The news comes months after the owner as well as the driver of High Limit Racing, Kyle Larson, drove for the former HMS driver team in the CARS Tour at Caraway Speedway.

The news of Junior’s appearance was shared by Larson himself in an interview. He disclosed, “I think it’s just awesome and the whole time it was just his idea. He came to me in North Wilkesboro and asked if I would run a CARS Tour race for him and he would come for one of our events so I thought that was amazing. It was on his mind, I hope he really enjoys his time, I hope that the racing is cool as we all do.
