And they surprised everyone with an announcement about their team partnering with a giant.
So whether racing or not, Dale Jr. certainly knows the ins and outs of the racing world. The credit for that goes to his legacy as well as him being deeply rooted in the industry. As a former race driver, team owner, commentator, and host, his podcast shows he is one of the most well-versed in the NASCAR fraternity. No one can second guess partnering with someone like him and the announcement he made recently proves that.

It was revealed by JR Motorsports on their Twitter account that the First Bank of Alabama has teamed up with JRM for the next Xfinity race at Talladega. It read, “NEWS: @FirstBankofAl teams with JRM and @sam_mayer_ for @TALLADEGA this weekend!” The newest partner of the #1 car driver, Sam Mayer, is the oldest continuously operated bank in the state of Alabama. Started in the year 1848, it marks its 175th anniversary this year. It will be featured as Mayer’s primary partner in the race in the upcoming weekend.

Partnering with FBAL seems to be a great opportunity for the team, as they have a positive impact on the Talladega community. Likewise, it is beneficial for them to join hands with NASCAR’s best Dale Earnhardt Jr. and his team. The car color scheme also looks pretty interesting and gives off an old-school vibe.
