Is Dale Earnhardt Jr. too serious for Halloween fun, or just saving his energy for the track?

The holiday season is upon us and it is indeed time for some fun and gala! While the NASCAR world is eagerly anticipating Martinsville and the finals at Phoenix, this does not mean one cannot dress up for Halloween right? As the Halloween season inches forward, Dale Earnhardt Jr and co. share some fun anecdotes.

While the children seem to be quite set on how and what they want to be dressed, Earnhardt Jr seems to be pissed off with his wife Amy’s idea. Here’s what the wife had proposed to which she received quite a strong reaction!

Halloween is a time for fun and what drives this fun is nothing but some creative and amazing costumes. While the Earnhardt Jr family seems to be quite set on their plans, Amy expressed how she is having a tough time deciding and convincing Dale Earnhardt Jr about what he should wear for Halloween. The couple have two children – Nicole and Isla. While Nicole wants to be a minion, Isla has decided to deck up as Descendants. This would give Isla a nice princess-like look, and it just be much more real and vibrant.

While the children have chosen such dreamy characters, Amy Earnhardt has chosen someone that we all love – Maleficent. However, she is still not sure about how Earnhardt Jr might want to dress up. She had proposed to him to deck up as Captain Hook given the options are indeed quite limited. She mentioned her mastermind with Dale Earnhardt Jr so that the plan of dressing him does not fail. Amy said, “I am not sure what Dale might want to be. We could end up trying to dress them up like Captain Hook. This is one of those situations where you tell him right beforehand so we don’t have a lot of time to change our mind. Because the other options are even worse”.

But the options do not end here. Amy even hinted that Dale might want to pick up the character of a weird blue man from one of the musicals that the girls keep on watching. This man also seems to have a mole on his wrinkles. While it could be possibly Hades from Hercules, Amy wasn’t able to recollect the exact name of the character. However, this idea did not go well with Dale Earnhardt Jr for sure. Amy mentioned that he was not very keen on putting up someone else’s face. Although he was on the same page to try out the outfit, he has somehow resented the facial accessories!

Recounting Earnhardt Jr’s reaction to this proposition, Amy shared, “It’s like you could be this weird guy with the blue hair. You know that movie that she watches where they’re singing all the time. We found one of the silicon masks while we were traveling. And so we had to just indulge ourselves. And he’s got like moles in his wrinkles and Dale’s like I just wanna wear this and see how I feel going out in public without my own face. He might show up to pie in the sky thing, we’ll see how it plays out”. Although Earnhardt Jr seems to be quite the tough guy, Halloween dressing up is for all right?
