The owner of Hendrick Motorsports, Rick Hendrick is known to be a pretty nice man. Recently, during a podcast, Dale Earnhardt Jr shared how he felt good after Hendrick had taken care of his former employee and present-day broadcaster after they had been recovering from surgery.

Junior stated, “I thought we did a great job considering the fact that Steve wasn’t there. And so at the end of the day, you know, we Steve was, Steve had a plan, he’s gonna spend the night. And Mr Rick Hendrik was gonna take him home in the morning with his wife.
“They have gotten home, and he’s comfortable at home but won’t be playing golf for a while, which will suck for him because he loves to play golf and plays every day. But I’ll tell you, man, yesterday sucked, I say around my house feeling like I had been.“
Hendrick’s gesture towards the former crew chief, Steve Letarte proved to show how brilliant and gold-hearted man the Hendrick Motorsport boss is.
What happened to Steve Letarte?
The veteran was not able to attend the broadcasting team at the championship decider race at Phoenix as he was undergoing surgery after not being well.

He cited his major issue to have been solved after a successful emergency appendectomy was performed on him by the respected doctors of Saint Joseph’s hospital. As he recovered while still on the hospital bed, Letarte put out a tweet thanking the doctors and the staff who made sure he was taken care of.

Letarte has almost recovered from his surgery and is taking care back home. We all wish for his speedy recovery and wish for him to return to the booth at the Daytona 500s for the next season.
