In the world of sports, it is the team that has always mattered the most. It is the immense hard work that every individual put in order for their player to shine on the field. The same can be said for NASCAR. The whole team, who acts as the pillar for the driver, works selflessly. On the driver’s part, they have to keep up with the expectations of their team and prove their worth. The real stars who everybody acknowledges. Even Dale Earnhardt Jr believes in these facts.
The owner of JR Motorsports considers it is the driver who can make the real difference on the track. Even though he is a veteran himself, he makes sure of the track that he does not overshadow the efforts of his own team. This is apparent in Junior’s Twitter post.

To delve deeper, NASCAR announced that as a part of its 75th-anniversary celebration, NASCAR All-Star Racing will be held at North Wilkesboro Speedway, But ahead of that, Trucks will also get a chance to race on the historic track for Tyson 250. In lieu of that, Spire Motorsports announced Kyle Larson will pilot the No.7 Chevrolet Silverado. Although it was Alex Bowman who was slated to race in that car, he is sidelined from the race due to a fractured vertebra that he suffered during a sprint car wreck. Hendrick Motorsports, the main team for both of these drivers, released this announcement.
As per speedsport.com, Even Kyle Larson expressed his views to Spire, “I’m excited about the opportunity to run the Truck (Series) race at North Wilkesboro next weekend with Spire Motorsports. It’s a shame that Alex won’t be able to compete. We wish him a speedy recovery so he can return to the track soon. Since I’ve never raced at North Wilkesboro, I think it could be beneficial to get some additional laps in at the track. I’m looking forward to double-duty All-Star weekend.”

But it seems not everyone is happy with the announcement. The news of Kyle Larson comes as a surprise to many. Many were hoping Dale Jr. would be taking the seat. But the veteran driver seems to have different plans. He named Carson Kvapil, from his own team, as a suitable hypothetical replacement. He replied, “I would rather put @Carson_Kvapil in it,” to a fan.

Carson Kvapil, the JR Motorsports’ Late Model driver, has already tasted his victory in the .625 mile oval and also beat his team owner back in 2022 in Racetrack Revival 200.
And fans apparently support Dale Jr’s idea of the No.7 driver.
One wrote, “That would’ve been awesome plus he won at North Wilkesboro last year too.”

@Dale Jr would love to see you hop in a truck at least once. Have you never wanted to check it out?
This feels like the start of a “Dale needs to race the truck” campaign.
Or could have been in the FDNY #28 truck

It will surely be interesting to see Kyle Larson fill in for Alex Bowman. Larson is also slated to drive in the All-Star Weekend. Will he be a good substitute for Bowman, or will he prove Dale’s word to be true? Well, it is Saturday that holds the answer.
