Josh Berry won the pole at the 55th Snowball Derby. Holding off Derek Thorn from his fourth consecutive pole, Berry beat him by a mere margin of 0.045 seconds. However, seemingly, his JR Motorsports boss, Dale Earnhardt Jr is not at all surprised by Berry’s feat.
In one of his recent tweets, Racing America editor-in-chief, Matt Weaver shared Josh Berry’s achievement on his feed. Impressed by the Rackley WAR driver clinching a pole in just his second attempt at the Snowball Derby, fans left congratulatory messages for the driver in the comment section.

But Dale Earnhardt Jr. went a step ahead while reacting to the news. Reposting Weaver’s tweet, Earnhardt shared the infamous ‘I’m not surprised’ Nate Diaz meme.

Josh Berry assuming a new role for Dale Earnhardt Jr at the Wilkesboro race
So, the CARS tour is back at Wilkesboro. After the long-awaited revival of the Speedway, fans will finally witness their favorite driver, Dale Earnhardt Jr on the Wilkesboro track. However, it’s interesting to note that his JR Motorsports driver Josh Berry, would also be accompanying him, but not as a driver.
Then what role would Berry be assuming?

Being a NASCAR Xfinity Series participant, Berry would be serving as a crew chief for Dale Earnhardt Jr. When asked by Racing America if he would miss driving at the Wilkesboro, Berry said, “Maybe a little bit.”
However, he also shared how happy he is to assume this new role for Earnhardt Jr. He explained, “Man, this made the most sense and I’ve had a lot of time to digest it but this place means so much for Dale. He’s done so much for my career and has been so supportive of our Late Model program. It means a lot to race and brings him here.”
