NASCAR is known for its off-field banter, and surprisingly, Dale Earnhardt Jr also has one for us this time. Landon Huffman and Dale Jr do have something to say about themselves. Both have been involved in banter before, with both claiming the other one to be an “idiot.” While it’s difficult to identify the idiot between the two, Junior, for now, seems to have the upper hand.
Recently, a fan posted a shirt printed with a NASCAR theme. There were prints of #3 Dale Jr, #38 Kelley, and #8 Kerry; the hood of the car was titled ‘Mom N Pops’. Surprisingly, one of the crew members from Huffman Racing, RJ William, lauded the design and expressed wanting one for himself. It looks like Dale Earnhardt Jr has a fan from Huffam’s crew; that has to mean something, right?

While RJ William wanted a piece of himself, he had a query about where the images of Dale Earnhardt Jr and Kerry were taken. He commented on the post, asking, “Can you confirm where Kerry and Dale’s pic were taken? This is a common disagreement at @HuffmanRacing. Main, I Say it’s going to be 1 at Hickory.”
The user who posted the apparel design also came up with his suggestion and voted in favor of Turn 1 Hickory. “Judging by this TNN Busch Series race still shot. Turn 1 Hickory is my vote.” In response to this, William had a suggestion for Landon Huffman, he replied, “@LandonHuffman see!! You’d get your picture taken with your fresh car at the beginning of the season. Team pics with the car. Let’s normalize driver/team pictures with race car parked on the track again.”
IndyCar had parted ways with iRacing, the simulator gaming platform, and signed with Motorsports Games, but this decision was soon reversed. However, most of the fans and gamers were not too thrilled with this development. But Dale, on the other hand, congratulated iRacing and Penske Entertainment.
Dale Jr replied, “This great news!! Awesome Penske Ent and @iRacing”. But the fans were having none of this. They argued the game should not make a return and explained the dent in their pockets from paying monthly subscriptions. While iRacing is seen as a premier simulation game when it comes to NASCAR, IndyCar racing is a different ball game.
