Dale Earnhardt Jr. is someone who keeps himself busy. From his Dirty Mo Media podcasts to his Xfinity Series team, JR Motorsports, and his broadcasting gig for NBC, He has a couple of things going on in his life. Besides that, he keeps venturing out and exploring new projects. And as usual, he works hard.
But this time, a fan wanted to know how well those projects were going. And how he’s able to manage them? Especially with the playoffs going on.

A fan asked, “I know you have a few projects going on. The Nova, the Truck, The old dresses desk, how are all these projects coming along? Any update?”
To this Junior replied, laughing, “Nothings really moving forward right now. Cause this is just a super super busy time of the year.”
“The NBC role, the Cup Series stuff, traveling to the race track and all that. It’s playoffs, you know, gotta really start putting a lot more time of the day throughout the weekend, and what you’re doing as far as preparing for the weekend.”
He added, “Everybody is super busy this time of the year. It’s hard to do any of those fun side projects.”
However, all hope isn’t lost, because Dale said, “Right around the first November, we all get a little bit of space.”
Can’t wait to see Earnhardt Jr. out on track, doing all the fun side projects again. But what is the Nova Project? Let’s dive a little deeper.
Dale Earnhardt Jr and his Nova Project
Junior brought up Nova Project and a few others in his podcast. But that begs the question- what is Nova Project? Well, let’s just say it’s something quite sentimental.
Dale Jr. set out to completely restore the very car his father won the race at Darlington Raceway, back in the 1980s. And that car is none other than the iconic, #8 Chevy Nova.

Of course, Junior restored the car ahead of the 2021 Xfinity Series playoff race at Darlington and paced around the track on Saturday.
