Who likes to see their good old track that once came alive with life and had regular local races, only for nature to start reclaiming it as the facility slowly starts to rot? Well, ever since, North Wilkesboro received a massive revival from scratch, many people hoped that several other dilapidated tracks should also be rejuvenated. Recently, yet another historic racing venue announced that it would be sprung back to life within two years to host races again.

Racetrack revival Pennsboro Speedway released a statement in which they said, “THE MAGIC RETURNS TO PENNSBORO SPEEDWAY WITH A 2024 RACETRACK REVIVAL. An agreement has been reached between XR Events and the Ritchie County Fairgrounds to return racing to the Historic Pennsboro Speedway in Pennsboro, WV in 2024.”

“XR Events, operators of the Racetrack Revival, will tackle the dormant facility with a long-term plan to return it to racing in 2024. Further details will be released at a later time.”

This marks yet another old dilapidated track being revived from the ground up after tracks such as North Wilkesboro Speedway.

Dale Earnhardt Jr and fans react to yet another race track revival

Junior and fans were left ecstatic at the news of yet another historic racing venue being brought back to life. Many fans also decided to thank Jr to start the trend, after he decided to revive North Wilkesboro Speedway.

One fan stated that he found it to be surprising that Junior had heard of his local small old track. While another asked Dale which track he would like to see revived. Another recommended that Jungle Park or Middle Georgia Speedway should be revived.
