It is never easy to see your beloved drivers retire. Over the years, some top racers have hung up their helmets despite having the utmost desire to continue racing. Of course, one of his most well-known business ventures is Dirty Mo Media, the digital platform which broadcasts a number of popular podcasts. Another successful venture is the premium vodka brand, High Rock, which he and his wife, Amy Earnhardt, own.

However, not many know that Junior also owns a company named “Filter Time,” which is an air-filter subscription service. He co-owns the company along with former NASCAR driver, Blake Koch. Although Filter Time is the brainchild of Koch, Dale Jr’s popularity has taken the company to great heights.

Time and again, the company is seen sponsoring race cars and one such event took place recently. It turns out that the company will sponsor R & S Race Cars for the Cars Tour race at Tri-County Motor Speedway. Now here’s the catch. Guess who will be the man behind the wheel for this race?

It’s none other than Kenny Wallace.

Yes! you read it right. The Herman is back and will race in the Cars Tour on Memorial Day with $30,000 prize money up for grabs. Junior took to Twitter to announce this massive news.

Despite retiring from NASCAR in 2015, Wallace competes in local dirt track races as a hobby, not as a profession. However, this news changes the dynamics of how one looks at the Cars Tour.
