Dale Earnhardt Jr is one of those personalities from the sport that continue to serve its best interests long after they’ve said goodbye and retired. He is a pole bearer of NASCAR not because he has to be, but because he wants to be.
One of the key outlets Dale Jr. has of staying in touch with NASCAR and keeping NASCAR in touch with a larger group of fans is through his podcast, ‘Dale Jr. Download’.
This is a show that is massively popular for its unique structure and approach to interviews. And now it’s about to get even bigger.

Because in his recent episode, Dale Jr. and co-host Mike Davis announced the show will make its television debut this week. “I’m happy to report that this week’s episode is going to be on Peacock,” Mike Davis said.
“It debuts on Peacock this Thursday afternoon, March 17th, 6:00 p.m, the Austin Cindric episode.”
“You can go to Peacock and you can start watching. You can start watching all our past stuff but you can watch new episodes this week,” Earnhardt Jr. added. “We have been recording the episodes this year that we’ve been doing up to this point. So those possibly could make TV as well.”
Although, there’s a catch with the TV version of the show.
The episodes that will air on TV will be edited to 30 minutes in duration from their original uncut duration of around 90 minutes, which Dale Jr. emphasized.
“You’re gonna be missing out on some of the great content if you don’t listen to the whole thing.”
