In NASCAR, is it the team that is the most crucial part of racing? Or is it the driver, or the machine? Well, many experts on the sport are of the opinion that the communication between these three plays a crucial role, and Dale Earnhardt Jr is one of them.

While running a billion-dollar racing enterprise with teams and their drivers and crew, it is likely that the stakeholders will experience a few hiccups on the way. Major controversies and debates might follow and it seems that this is happening in NASCAR these days.

From massive penalties to open admissions of wrongdoing, NASCAR seems to have seen it all these days. In the latest episode of The Dale Jr. Download, Dale Earnhardt Jr and his longtime friend and co-host Mike Davis discussed the recent happenings in NASCAR.

Speaking with Mike, Junior revealed his dissatisfaction with the clarity and extent of communication that goes on between NASCAR and other stakeholders. He said, “But think about the line of communication of, you know, where they can work. I mean all of the emails and back, you know the going from approvals, the CAD, the pieces to get approved from the manufacturer to the organization NASCAR, then back to the teams.”

His co-host interrupted to add, “It’s flawed, it’s susceptible to miscommunication.”

Dale continued, “It sounds like something could be dropped and misinterpreted, right?”
