Time is fleeting, and the days are numbered for every living creature. The world has seen the numerous faces trodding the soils of the earth before dissipating into oblivion. The Biblical quote “All are from the dust, and to dust all return” is the universal truth that has remained pertinent through the inception of time as it sends chills down the spines of every being.

The thought of bidding farewell to loved ones and not being able to see them seems to strike a chord in the heart and chokes the voice. While the circle of life and death has been the most brutal truth that can ever exist, it seems that Dale Earnhardt Jr’s sister, Kelley, is met with one such tragedy.

It’s been over two decades since the Intimidator breathed his last. The day which could have been a joyous day for the Earnhardt family is remembered as one of the bleakest days in NASCAR’s history. The 7x Cup Series champion who was racing alongside his son Dale Earnhardt Jr on the track of Daytona was met with a harrowing crash and he breathed his last. 

It’s been 22 years, and the tragic story still moist up the eyes of every NASCAR enthusiast. The NASCAR world still feels the void that was created after the passing away of one of the legends of NASCAR and his endless contribution to the development of the sport.

Nevertheless, it seems that another tragedy fell on the Earnhardt family. The tragic news is, Dale Earnhardt’s daughter lost her beloved pet dog Scully. The sad affair was reported by her on her Instagram story. She wrote, “My mom and stepdad’s beloved Scully crossed the rainbow bridge today at 16” alongside the photo of the dog. This brings back the memory of when Junior’s wife, Amy, also gave her fans a similar tragic update.

However, this was not the first time that the Earnhardt family had lost one of the sweet souls to the ruthless clutches of nature. Dale Jr and his wife Amy Earnhardt had the opportunity of hosting a hummingbird for a brief period of time before it crossed the rainbow bridge.

Mrs. Earnhardt took to Instagram to post an update on the health of the bird before reporting the sad demise of the sweet soul. She wrote on her Instagram story, “G’Mornin! Hummingbird is still hanging on the line in the garage. Dale went to get the ladder to investigate.

However, she later informed, “I’m sad to report that our hummingbird friend didn’t make it. I took this earlier today and saw she was breathing. We came back a bit later, and she had flown over the rainbow bridge.”

This surely is a sad affair for the Earnhardt family, as they reel from the tragic news. Hope the family finds strength.
