The 47-year-old may have gotten his hands on just one Cup Series when he won the Championship in 2014, but he has been a consistent performer over the two decades that he has raced in NASCAR.

But as he stands at the cusp of the twilight of his life and his career, it is time for him and for his fans to look past him and look to the future. Harvick is well aware of that inevitable conversation he will need to have with himself.
