Kyle Busch seemingly takes a subtle jibe at Kyle Larson after his Talladega win
After a brave gamble to not pit and with the help of a little luck, Busch emerged victorious from the second overtime and took the checkered flag at Talladega. This was his second win at the superspeedway and the 62nd of his career.
There go the first two points about talent and accomplishments.
Then there’s his sense of humor and his blunt responses. For that, look no further than the response he gave after the race which may or may not be a jibe at Kyle Larson of all people.
During the press conference after his win, a reporter mentioned to Busch the notion that the racing from the Next Gen car seemingly “preaches patience [rather] than the aggressive style.”
The reporter continued, “Do you think this suits you more with the more mature Kyle?”
“What number Kyle are we talking about,” came the response from Busch.
